Topps Major League Soccer 2019 provides three relics per hobby box at a very reasonable price point. Here’s a review for anyone considering card collecting. If you’ve ever thought about getting into card collecting, then Topps has a great product for you. Topps Major League Soccer 2019 is a perfect way to break into the hobby, delivering a ton of numbered cards, inserts and relic cards. Topps was kind enough to send me a box to review and I’m happy to report that the product is a lot of fun. And I’m saying that as a person who has watched maybe 10 MLS games in my life. Here’s a full breakdown. Each hobby box contains 24 packs and each pack contains 8 cards. So, right off the bat, you’re getting a ton of cards – and that’s a good thing.

The line features parallels numbered to 99, 50, 25 and 1 (variations on the base design). In addition to that, some cards in designed in the same style as 1984 Topps Baseball, providing a fun and retro look. But here’s the really fun part. Each hobby box contains three game-used relic cards. One of those cards is guaranteed to be a dual-relic, featuring game-used memorabilia from two different players. The other two are jumbo relics. So whether you’re a long-time Major League Soccer fan or you’re a new fan looking to get into a new hobby, Topps MLS 2019 is a perfect product. Overall At just $107 for a hobby box, Topps Major League Soccer 2019 provides fans with an affordable and fun product. I think this product would be great for young fans – just because of the sheer number of cards you get – but there’s certainly plenty of enjoyment to be had for older collectors as well. Don’t miss out on it, MLS fans.Orlando Pride fans will be able to watch the entirety of the 2019 National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) campaign on the Yahoo! Sports app.

NCAA National Championship: check. Club championship: check. Women's World Cup championship: check. Olympic gold medal: check, in triplicate. On Friday, one of the most decorated midfielders in United States history decided it's time for a retirement tour.

Announcing on social media that 2019 would be her last season as a professional."Everybody's journey is different and everybody decides at different times when it's the end for them," said NC Courage midfielder, Heather O'Reilly. "For me, personally, I think I'm a closure person." "I think it's always a good time when the player decides it's a good time, when you leave on your own and it's not somebody else making you leave," said Courage head coach Paul Riley. The news came on the eve of the Courage's NWSL season opener, despite this being a choice O'Reilly's been mulling for some time. "She came to me the other day and told me and she just about shed tears when she told me. She could barely get a sentence out, and I think that shows how much passion she's got for the game. It was an emotional ten minutes for her.

I think it's just the right time for me, but I did want to say it before the season so it's just kind of out there and I can enjoy the next six months with this wonderful team." She rose to prominence as a member of UNC's women's soccer team where she scored 59 goals, tallied 49 assists, book ending her collegiate career with National Championships in 2003 and 2006. She was named College Cup MVP in both of those title wins. O'Reilly also became a fixture on the US Women's National Team, making 231 appearances while scoring 47 goals in international play before announcing her retirement from the USWNT in 2016. "The girl is an absolute legend. It's like her and Dwyane Wade are leaving the sports as legends," said NC Courage forward Jessica McDonald. "She's not just a legend in this country, but the world," says Riley. "Everywhere we go when we travel, everyone wants to see Heather O'Reilly, and talk to Heather O'Reilly." She continued to play at the club level before being traded to the Courage in June of 2018. O'Reilly quickly meshed with the highly successful squad, scoring the lone goal against Lyon in the Courage's championship victory in the first-ever Women's International Cup.

"No matter how many caps she's got, she's still humble and got great humility, that's what I love about her, and a really great player still on top of that," Riley says. The 34-year-old said 2019 just seemed like the right season and the right time to hang up her boots. She seems to have a second career already lined up too. She'll be part of the FOX broadcast team as part of the network's coverage for the 2019 Women's World Cup. "I'm also going to be going off to Paris to do TV work for about five weeks, so there's a lot going on for me right now professionally," O'Reilly explains. "I'm always going to be involved with this beautiful game." That hiatus will come in the middle of the NWSL season, when several other Courage players will be on leave as well. Thus thrusting a number of younger, more inexperienced players into starting roles. Which may be where O'Reilly's greatest contribution comes into play now. "We just started preseason a couple of weeks ago and one of the rookies came in and said, 'oh my god, I'm playing with Heather O'Reilly!'" Riley recalls. "And she's so down to Earth she just makes them all feel welcome." It will be tough to top a season that include an historic "treble:" the International Cup Championship, a NWSL Shield, and a NWSL Championship. O'Reilly's never been one to shy away from a challenge though. "It's not going to change anything, we're going to go about doing our business as we always do," O'Reilly said. "Anybody that knows me knows that I'm going to give it 100 percent." "I'm glad I get to coach her in her final year, and I'm glad she gets to do it with the North Carolina Courage,"

Riley said. "What a great way to play home in your final season." "For me, as her friend and as her teammate, I'm happy that I got to witness a legend on the field," said McDonald.Auburn soccer has added goalkeeper Kate Hart as the newest member of the program, head coach Karen Hoppa announced Friday.
